Smitherman and Patricia Barnes; her siblings' children, Tamala, Crystal, Karen, Tara, Vareesha, Whitley, Kandice and Courtney; and her close friends, Bettye Patterson, James Pierce, Jackie Terrell, Sarah Roden and Darryl Luker. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
