He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Ritta Samuels and Murphy Samuels; his wife Frances Samuels; his children, Susie Gowens (David) and Joel Samuels (Janice); his grandchildren, Patrick LaFollette, Hannah LaFolette, Rachel Breech (John), Ben Samuels, Davis Samuels and Carson Samuels; and his great grandchild Carter LaFolette.
