He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Sanford Wilkerson and Betty Sue Tidwell Wilkerson; and his wife Linda Joyce Wilkerson. He is survived by: his children, Amanda Tapia of Talladega, Melinda Grant of Petty City, William Wilkerson (Betty) of Roanoke and Donald Elkins of Wadley; and his siblings, Anita Waldrep (Tim) of Wadley and Paul Wilkerson (Bonnie) of Wadley. He is also survived by six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and extended family.
