She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy Joseph Gilbert; her daughter Jannie Sue Gilbert; her parents, Guy Owens and Hazel Owens; her siblings, Virginia Zatkoff, Marguerite Bedsole, Guy Owens Jr., Merlin Owens and Marvin Owens; and her grandson Andrew Jackson Gilbert.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Ruth Bigler, Sharon Gilbert, Anita Louise Teague (Fred), Jimmie Lou Norman (Steve) and James Kenneth Gilbert (Pat); her sister Elaine Allen; and her aunt Geneva Owens. She is also survived by grandchildren great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
