She was predeceased by: her husband Ceborne C. Bankson; her grandson Tommy Harp; her parents, Vincent Samford and Julie Samford; and her siblings, Frances Henry and Windell Jack Samford.
She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Harp (David) of Altoona; her grandsons, Matthew and Jeremy Harp; and her siblings, Martha Gardner of Gadsden, Hazel Smith (Billy) of Texas and Vincent Samford Jr. (June) of Jacksonville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Amedisys Hospice.
