She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Johnston, Sr.; her parents, Ernest Boatwright and Ruby Jo Boatwright; and her brothers, Joey Boatwright and Gary Boatwright.

She is survived by: her children, Nola Drew, Chuck Johnston (Cindy) and Brent Johnston; and her grandchildren, Meagan Johnston and Dylan Johnston.
