He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Bankston and Ella Ruth Bankston. He is survived by: the father of his child Brian; his son Brian Bankston of Gadsden; his siblings, Stephen Bankston (Beverly) of Hokes Bluff, Jimmy Bankston of Gadsden, Elizabeth Villman (Jim) of Lineville, AL and Jean Money (Alex) of Tullahoma, TN; his siblings' children, Dawn Bunt (Shane), April Barnard (Randall), Chad Bankston (Nicole), Rebekah Bankston, Jeremy Money (Ellen) and Drew Money (Kate); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Gracyn, Abi Bunt, Spencer, Isaac Barnard, Alyssa, Krimson Bankston, Forrest, Nadia, Max, Vivian and Elliot Money.
