She was predeceased by: her husband Stancell; her children, Larry, Donald, Ricky, Renee Mardis and Annabelle; and her siblings, Delmer, Buster and Ruby Joe Wilkes.

She is survived by: her son Gary Gilbert (Teresa); her grandson Brandon Gilbert (Brandi); and her sister Bonnie Lyles. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren and 1 great- great grandchild.
