She was predeceased by: her husband Elmus Kidd; and her granddaughter Bridgett Kidd Brunson. She is survived by: her children, W. E. "Sonny" Kidd, Jr. (Alice) and Alicia Helms (Mac); and her grandsons, Tony Kidd (Alicia), Michael Helms (Amanda) and Jay Helms (Cassie). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Bellevue Methodist Church, 209 Mary Lou Circle, Gadsden, AL 35904.
