She was predeceased by: her parents, John May and Mary Joseph May; and her husband James Whitfield. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Ann Whitfield King (John), Karen Jean Peterson and Susan Marie Jarrett (Wesley); and her sister Carol Kabbes. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
