He was predeceased by: his wife Billie Ruth Hughes; his parents, K. C. Hughes and Lucille Hughes; and his great grandchild Layla Hughes. He is survived by: his children, Sandi (Wayne Mantooth), Billy (Ginny Hughes), Rhonda (Dale DeLoach) and Steve Hill; his grandchildren, Stacey Moro (Steven), Halie Conn (Mickey), Sean Owen (Alison), Chris Owen (Keri), Kasey Owen (Kristen), Ben DeLoach (Kylie), Brittany Hill (Russell), Emily Hill (Adam), Lauren Moore (Dalton), Alec Williams (Halleigh), Denise Kelso, Lance Hughes (Nicole) and Warren Hughes (Pennie); and his brother Kip C. Hughes.
