She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Brown and Louise Brown; her children, Sharon Garrett and Jeffery Anthony Garrett, Sr.; and her grandson Jeffery Anthony Garrett, Jr..

She is survived by: her husband Floyd Garrett; her daughter Tammy Garrett; her granddaughter Natasha Peek (Gregory); and her great grandchildren, Aden Garrett, Laci Peek and Braxton Peek.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society in honor of Mrs. Garrett.
