With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna Carol Wix Farris (Gardendale, Alabama), who passed away on April 22, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, E. B. Boyd and Bessie Lee Craft Boyd; and her siblings, Burell Boyd, Jim Boyd, Derwood Boyd (Mildred) and Mary June Light Jebeles (Chris).

She is survived by : her husband Prentice Farris; her daughter Tiffany Wix Phillips (Othell); her grandchildren, Tucker Phillips (Cassidy) and Chaney Phillips (Jackson); her stepdaughter Yolanda Arnold (Phillip); her stepgranddaughters, Holley Berendt (Adam) and Heather Awtry (Trey); and her sisters-in-law, Doris Boyd and Willodean Boyd. She is also survived by her six great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ridout's Gardendale Chapel (2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
