He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Thomason and Dorothy Thomason; his parents-in-law, Jimmy D. Hudson and Mary Jo Hudson; his brother Lonnie Thomason; his brothers-in-law, Phil Killian and Randy Jones; and his niece Meredith Powers.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Hudson Thomason; his sisters, Brenda Killian and Donna Powers (Greg); his sisters-in-law, Teresa Anglin (Troy) and Tina Jones; his niece Tashia Benefield (Paul); his nephews, Micah Jones, Andrew Jones, Ethan Powers and Adam Powers (Jacie); his great-niece Kyrie Benefield; and his great-nephew Riggins Powers.
To Honor Donny's wishes, the family has requested the services be private due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
