With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elder Rader Tolbert of Gardendale, Alabama, who passed away on January 8, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Emma Tolbert; his parents, Elder Rader Tolbert, Sr. and Delilah Tolbert; and his siblings, John Tolbert, Milton Tolbert, Dorothy Cornelius and Sara Burton.
He is survived by: his sister Emma Jean Wade; his sister-in-law Norma Tolbert; his nieces and nephews, Cathy Hanvey Green (Ben), Mary Burton Self (Tommy), C. Hugh Burton, Jr. (Denise) and Ryan Putman (Kerrie); his great-niece Dana Green McKinney; his great-nephew B. J. Green (Jessica); and also, Brooklyn McKinney, Tripp and Viviann. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Due to COVID and health concerns, all services for E. R. are private and the family would like everyone to know that they appreciate your thoughts and prayers.
