He was predeceased by: his parents, Lottie Gertrude Hood Arwood and James Alfred Arwood; and his brother Huel Boston "H. B.". He is survived by: his siblings, James Loyd "Sonny" Arwood, George Roscoe Arwood, Eithel Inez Hurst and Olie Pauline Knight; his children, Linda Marie Davis and Huell Wade Arwood; his wife Rita Carlos Arwood; his son Alan Arwood; and his grandchildren, Michelle, Art, Angel, Niressa, Jamie, Alan II, Marie and Bryan. He is also survived by many step grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren as well as other extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to New Georgia Baptist Church.
