He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry S. Swanson and Maude Swanson; his wife Nancy C. Swanson of Gardendale; his children, James A. Swanson (Deanna) of Gardendale, Lica Gilley (Eddie) of Gainesville and Brad Swanson of Arizona; his grandchildren, Jesse Swanson, Bobby Swanson, Kevin Gilley, Jaclyn Gilley, Mauri Cox, Amberli Boatright and Kristen Swanson; and his siblings, Jimmy Swanson (Bonnie) of Utah and Norma Jean Henry (Fred) of Gardendale. He was also cherished by several great grandchildren.
