With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Edward Ramey (Gardendale, Alabama), born in Warrior, Alabama, who passed away on September 13, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry J. Ramey and Alice Vivian Ramey; his sisters, Babara Ramey, Shirley Reid and Patsy Kennedy; and his brother-in-law Frankie Kennedy.

He is survived by: his daughter Sharon Leota Atwood; his brother Fred Ramey; and his brother-in-law Sammie Reid. He is also survived by several niece, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
