It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Larry Rice (Gardendale, Alabama), who passed away on October 12, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Porter James Rice and Iva Mae Stricklin Rice. He is survived by: his son Mark Rice; his siblings, Ken Rice (Robin Rice) and Delilah Frew; and his grandsons, Tanner Rice and Cody Rice. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
