He was predeceased by: his wife Annis Tollett Whitlow. He is survived by: his children, James A. Whitlow (Ann), Leisa Whitlow and Wendy Whitlow; his grandson James Lee Whitlow (Danielle); and his great grandchildren, Robert, Grace, Ella and Isaiah. He is also survived by several extended family members and a host of friends.
In leu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to the Big Oaks Ranch, Gardendale Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church, or to the Gardendale First Baptist Church Camp David.
