It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Morris Chandler Jr. (Gardendale, Alabama), who passed away on January 23, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ina Carol Chandler; his stepson Billy Ray Horton; his parents, John Morris Chandler, Sr. and Ida Chandler; his siblings, Gene Chandler (Melody) and Bobbie Sorrell (Paul); and his brother-in-law Sonny England.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rhonda Smith (Dueff) and Rita Horton; his stepchildren, Charles Horton (Tabitha) and Paula Brewer (Aubrey); his grandchildren, Brittney, Josh, Braxton (Ashley), Jared, Stone, Samantha, Landon and Brennen; his great grandchildren, MaKayla, Kaylee and Everly; and his siblings, Dalton Chandler (Shirley) and Jane England. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Livingston Chapel Church, 16609 Co Rd 222, Crane Hill, AL 35053 in memory of John.
