He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Tuma Sr. and Anita Tuma; and his sister Vivian T. Covington. He is survived by: his children, Andrew Tuma (Linette) and Kellie T. Atcheson (Terry); his grandchildren, Mikayla Tuma, Grace Tuma, Maddie Manning and Brooke Tuma; the mother of his children Lorie Lane; his son-in-law Mike Atcheson; his nephews, Richard Lykes, Derrick Lykes and Philip Lykes; his niece Karen Ellisand Shirley Bell; and his cousins, Lynn Miller, Jane Hanks Steve Webster, Wayne Gwin and Tommy Keith.
In Leu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to Gardendale First Baptist Church or to the American Cancer Society.
