She was predeceased by: her husband Harold M. Powell; and her parents, Claude Clifford Gay and Lou Ella Fulford Gay. She is survived by: her daughters, Kristie Averhart (Tim) and Karin Thomas (Chuck); her brother Leonard Claude Gay; her grandchildren, Andrea Rouse (Jake), Zac Averhart (Taylor), Jake Averhart (Cait), Joey Thomas, Jordan Thomas and Xavier Averhart; and her great grandchildren, Wesson Rouse, Campbell Averhart and Sylvie Averhart.
