She is survived by: her husband Arie Cartee; her children, Duke Briscoe (Kim), John Briscoe (Rejina), Becky Sullivan (Jeff) and April Varney (Shaun); her siblings, Maynard Thomas (Geraldine), Alfred Thomas, Daniel Thomas, Mathew Thomas, Stephen Thomas, Mavaleen Jacobs, Normaleen Thomas and Ruth Tutton (James); her grandchildren, Hannah Flippo (David), Joy Carroll (Jessica), Karrissa Briscoe, Jayson Briscoe, Alex Varney, Hope Briscoe, Christopher Varney, Shellie McKown, Christopher McKown, Emily Cartee, Kristin Cartee and Abbie Wilson; and her great grandchildren, Victoria Carroll, Alex Carroll, Hunter Sullivan, Mason Culverhouse, Adam Culverhouse, Luke Briscoe, Tucker Briscoe, Owen McKown and Lilly McKown.
