He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest Clifton "E. C." and Bobbie Gilbert. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Gilbert; his son Chad Gilbert (Laurie); his grandsons, Cooper William Gilbert and Colby Lawrence Gilbert; and his sisters, Donna Noles (Paul), Cathy Gilbert and Carla Gilbert. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
