Ludie Hughes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2020, at the age of 93, Ludie Hughes (Gardendale, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charlie Hughes; her daughter Peggy Jane Hughes; her parents, Grover Gafford and Ludie Park Gafford; her siblings, Robert C. Gafford, William J. Gafford, John G. Gafford, Harry Gafford, Jimmie Mae Stone, Ethel Jackson and Patsy Harden; and her grandson Daniel Naim Ajlouny.
She is survived by: her children, Sandy Clark (Jim) of Cullman, Mary H. Sims of Indianapolis, Indiana, Patti Giambrone (Mike) of Chalkville, Terry Hughes (Karen) of Roswell, Georgia, Randy Hughes (Misty) of Pelham, Pamela Ajlouny (Basim) of Hoover and Debra Hughes of Villa Rica, Georgia; and her brother Larry Gafford (Connie). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
In light of COVID-19, masks and social distancing will be required and would be greatly appreciated.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Desperation Church, 510 – 5th Street, NW, Cullman, Alabama 35055 in her memory.
