It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Carolyn Smith Pate (Gardendale, Alabama), who passed away on November 7, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Baxter Smith and Jo Smith. She is survived by: her son Robert Gordon; her grandson James Gary; her husband Willard Pate; her son Gary (Crystal); her grandchildren, Gavin (Janna), Ashby, Willard and Riley; and her great grandchildren, Mason, Beckett, Rhea and Veda Rose. She is also survived by Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
