It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Lou James (Gardendale, Alabama), who passed away on January 23, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Arthur and Verna Arthur; and her husband William Atlas James. She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Smith; her granddaughter Jaymee Nelson (Taylor); and her great grandchildren, Edwin Nelson, Tinsley Nelson and Wyatt Nelson. She is also survived by several other family members and friends.
