She was predeceased by: her husband Arnold Hunter; and her parents, Maurine Parker and Elmo Parker. She is survived by: her children, Larry Hunter, Eric Hunter (Christy), Francis "Fran" Taylor (Tony) and Rebecca Dye (Larry); her brother Howard Parker (Sue); her grandchildren, Joshua Dye (Natalie), Phillip Dye (Madeline), Alex Taylor (Alli), Nick Hunter, Ben Hunter and Ella Hunter; and her great grandchildren, Henry Dye and Charles Dye.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to Gardendale Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church and St. Martin's in the Pines.
