She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Roy M. Hayes; her great grandchild Blake Thomas; and her parents, Lonnie B. Brown and Sallie Brown. She is survived by: her daughters, Sally Hayes, Sherry Hayes Buell and Glynda Hayes Abraham (Reiner); her grandchildren, Brian Hayes, Angela Thomas, Jeff Senft (Brandy), Shannon Buell and Amy Lazaro (Sergio); her great grandchildren, Dylan Taylor (Haley), Kayla Hayes, Kristen Hayes, Wade Thomas (Kelsey), Ryan Thomas, Joshua Thomas (Erin), David Senft (Megan), Jade May (Christian), Trace Taylor and Aiden Thomas; and her great great grandchildren, Kayzli Thomas, Emory Thomas, Korbynn Thomas, Sarah Elizabeth May and Stella Taylor. She is also survived by other extended family and friends.
Mavis Brown Hayes went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 30, 2020 just 2 months shy of her 99th birthday following a long journey through Alzheimer's Disease.
