He was predeceased by: his wife Macie Vance Johnson; his parents, Bertie Lee and Pearl Johnson; his sister Joyce Dixon; and his son-in-law Terry Belcher.
He is survived by: his children, Marilynn Estes (Porky) of Hayden, Keith Johnson (Becky) of Mount Olive and Latricia Belcher of Mount Olive; and his sister Betty Barrett of Addison. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
