He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lee and Nettie Lee; and his siblings, Sharon Graham (Raymond) and Lawrence Lee (Judy). He is survived by: his wife Nancy A. Lee; his children, Rev. R. Daniel Lee Jr. (Donna) and Anita Lawson; and his grandchildren, Katie (Trent), Noah (Casey), Lee, Ellen, Sam (Jasmine) and Madison. He is also survived by great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ridout's Gardendale Chapel (2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grand Old Gospel House (732 N Pine Hill Rd, Birmingham, AL 35217).
