She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Walter and Effie Jackson Creel (James Laster Parks); her children, Owen Boyd Parks and Joyce Dooley; and her grandson Shaun Dooley.

She is survived by: her son James W Parks (Hilda); her son-in-law Kermit Dooley; and her grandchildren, Pam Martin (Wayne), Debbie Gray (Alan) and Troy Dooley (Kathy).
