He was predeceased by: his parents, E. C. Spinks and Della Lundy Spinks; his wife Carolyn Spinks; and his siblings, Enoch Spinks, J. C. Spinks, Ray Spinks, Dick Spinks, I. W. Spinks, V'Elna Blackman, Dellavina Howell, Irene Rowlen and Bertha Traweek.
He is survived by: his sister Mary Weaver (Raymond); and his daughters, Roxanne Cole (Bob) and Renee Adams (Rod). He is also survived by grandchildren; great grandchildren; and soon to be great-great grandchildren.
