It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wendell Lupton Peacock (Samson, Alabama), who passed away on October 29, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Vernell Myers Peacock. He is survived by: his father Henry Lupton; his wife Cynthia Smith Peacock; his daughters, Brandee Wilson (Eric) of Geneva, AL and Miranda Rae Peacock of Bonifay, FL.; his grandchildren, Reed Wilson, Blake Wilson, Claudia Paulk (Isaiah) and Courtney Monk; his stepgrandson Colby Pugh (Taylor); his great grandchildren, Obadiah Paulk and Kaylee Paulk; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Gunner Pugh; his brother Willard Peacock (Tereasa); and his nephews, Hunter Peacock (Anna) and Grady Peacock. He is also survived by two great nieces, one great nephew, and a host of extended family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home (2744 W Magnolia Ave, Geneva, AL 36477). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Poplar Head Community Church (1129 Hwy 163, Westville, Florida 32464).
