He was predeceased by: his parents, Zell Watson and Madi Orene Hood. He is survived by: his wife Diann Hood; his son Michael Hood (Lisa); his grandchildren, Matthew Hood, Christopher Hood, Bailey Hood and Luke Hood; and his sister Vernice Josey.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (218 AL-106, Georgiana, AL 36033). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Providence Cemetery (4606 Starlington Rd, Georgiana, AL 36033).
