He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Nolan Jones and Daisey P Lowery Jones; his son Robert Newton Jones; his granddaughter Brittany Ruth Bradford; his daughter-in-law Rose M. Hagan; and his stepson John Lepne.

He is survived by : his wife Rosanna Jones; his children, Alice V. Jones, Susan Elaine Bradford (David) and Ronald Bruce Jones; and his stepchildren, Theresa Lepne, David Watson and Darren Watson (Lisa). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
