She was predeceased by: her parents, Baxley Powell and Lessie Mae Jones Powell; and her siblings, Shelby Jean Powell and Benny Powell. She is survived by: her husband Carey McKenzie of Goldville; her brother Coy Powell (Janis) of Goldville; her sibling's children, Melissa Jones (Wesley) of New Site, Keith Powell of Oxford, Ken Powell (Diane) of Goldville, Scott Powell (Tina) of Ourtown and Vince Powell (Sondra) of Roanoke; and her stepchildren, Michael McKenzie (Kim) of Delta and Michelle Snider (Alan) of Athens, AL. She is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
