She is survived by: her husband Wayne Burkhalter; her daughters, Dawn Barnes (Tony), Dellinda Mathis (Jim) and Shellia Kelley; her brother Marlin Homan (Sylvia); her sister-in-law Pam Homan; and her grandchildren, Logan Kelley (Ashley), Hannah Phillips (Clayton), John Braxton Barnes and Emma Barnes.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Highland Baptist Church (694 7th Ct NW, Gordo, AL 35466).
