She was predeceased by : her husband Jim Mitchell; her parents, John Stine and Ola Stine; her sisters, Roberta Latham (Grady), Evelyn Latham (Lewis), Edith Burkhalter (Marlin), Clara Mae Junkin (Oliver) and Thelma Cargile-Orr (Hoyt); and her brother-in-law Frank Mitchell.
She is survived by : her sons, Duane Mitchell, John Mitchell (Kerk Chan) and Jim Mitchell Jr. (Beth); her grandchildren, Lydia Mitchell and Daniel Mitchell; her daughters, Betty Sue and Doris (Tom); and also Rosa Gary. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests all memorials be made to the Gordo Senior Center, 228 Main St. South, Gordo, AL 35466 or Hospice of West Alabama, 3851 Loop Road, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404.
