It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Tommy Jean Garrett of Gordo, Alabama, born in Mantee, Mississippi, who passed away on January 15, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Clinton D. Garrett; her grandson Joseph Crowe; her siblings, Morgan Gilbert, Larry Gilbert and Jane Greenwood; and her parents, Simon Pink Gilbert and Mamie Hicks Gilbert.

She is survived by : her children, Barbara Garrett, Barry Garrett and Tommy Garrett (Susan); and her grandchildren, Michael Garrett (Leslie), Barry Garrett (Marsha), Lee Garrett Heath (Michelle), Brandy Garrett Sims and Jacob Crowe. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
