It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Oak Schaefer of Grand Bay, Alabama, who passed away on July 29, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Schaefer and Mary Schaefer; his stepson Gregg Belcher; and his siblings, Paul "Sonny" Schaefer and Patricia Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Schaefer; his sons, Dennis Schaefer and Danny Schaefer (Mandy); and his grandchildren, Sara, Rebecca, Lexie, Lainie and Addie Schaefer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Due to concerns surrounding Covid-19, we ask that everyone wear masks while attending services along with practicing social distancing.
