She was predeceased by: her husband Woodrow Honea; her daughter Mary Gail Nelson; and her siblings, Richard Martin and Bessie Nell Russum. She is survived by: her son Mike Honea (Starr); her sister Georgie Batton; and her grandchildren, Brian Nelson (Tina), Sean Nelson, Ashley Calloway (Clifford), Alyssa Formolo (Eric) and Amanda Pittman (Michael). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
