She was predeceased by: her husband Sherrell Eugene Turner; her parents, Charlie Arnold Ponder and Georgia Clodine Newton Ponder; and her brothers, Thomas Richard Ponder (Diane) and Charlie Arnold Ponder, II (Rebecca).
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Arnold Turner (Christy) and Shea Elizabeth Turner; and her grandchildren, Mackenzie Turner, Sierra Head and Gabe Ingram. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ebenezer East Baptist Church (1571 Halso Mill Rd, Greenville, AL 36037). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
