He was predeceased by : his parents, Floyd "Bud" and Gladie Brunson Roberts; his siblings, Baby Boy Roberts, Wayne Roberts, Thomas "Tom" Roberts, Shirley Lynn and Johnny Roberts; his granddaughter Veronica Kaitlyn Roberts; and his nephews, Ken Lynn and Aaron Salter.

He is survived by : his daughters, Robyn Van Winkle (Rick) of Grove Hill, AL and Stephanie Sims of Tuscaloosa, AL; his siblings, Don Roberts of Dickinson, AL, Ken Roberts (Tamara) of Fultondale, AL, Randall Roberts of Grove Hill, AL, Faye Adams of Jackson, AL and Peggy Roberts of Grove Hill, AL; and his grandchildren, Cassidy Van Winkle, Cody Van Winkle and Caleb Sims.
