She was predeceased by: her parents, Art Brown and Esther Brown. She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Heidi Stern and Karl Stern (Kristy); and her stepdaughters, Sue Roeder (Mike) and Jeanne Daniels (Jim). She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorials preferred to the Animal Humane Society of Golden Valley.

“I met Jackie at Gulf Shores UMC shortly after moving to the area. Roger and I joined the church and the choir. .I told her I was a retired organist. We became quick friends and often talked about organs and literature. I substituted for her on occasion. We attended AGO meetings in Pensacola. After she moved to MN we kept in contact. I will miss her joyful spirit.”
