It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lonnie Lee Jowers (Guntersville, Alabama), born in Nanafalia, Alabama, who passed away on April 21, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Columbus Jowers; his wife Carolyn Jowers; his son Eric Jowers; his brothers, Walter Jowers, Cleveland and Winfield Jowers; his close friend Betty Cranford; and his sister-in-law Patty Jowers (late Cap Jowers).
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Redington (Mitchell), Micheal Jowers (Christy), Pam Jowers (David) and Scottie Jowers (Brandi); his brother Johnny Jowers; and his pet Max.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 24th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Carr Funeral Home (1960 Obrig Ave, Guntersville, AL 35976). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 24th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
