He was predeceased by: his father Garland Self; and his siblings, Richard Self, Yvon Self, Leda Parrish, Eunice Colefield and Ruby Corbin.
He is survived by: his daughter Lydia Hubbard; his stepson Shane Davis (Terry); his mother Effie Self; his siblings, Randy Self (Sarah), Vernon Self (Brenda), William Self, Dian Vickery, Effie Campbell (Mac) and Sandy Bundt (Martin); his grandchildren, Heath Self, Brianna, Jada and Jamaal Hubbard; David Vickery. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
