In the sacred silence of farewell, Russell Chase is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by : his brother Zach Pike; and his grandfather Russell Payne. He is survived by : his parents, Keith Woodard (Kelly) and Mary Gilbert; his daughter Madison Kate Woodard; his siblings, James Anderson, Heith Woodard, Arly Stults (John) and Austin Woodard (Delaney); and his grandparents, Elouise Payne, Ed and Janice Franks. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 13th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pinkard Funeral Home (1308 21st St, Haleyville, AL 35565). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
