With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie Cooper Ellison (Hamilton, Alabama), who passed away on February 16, 2019 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh E. Cooper and Ellen Cooper; her husband Williams E. Ellison Sr. (Gene); and her siblings, Sue Fowler, Betty Sibley, Lee Cooper and J. E. Cooper.
She is survived by: her son William E. Ellison (Freida); her granddaughters, Bethany Ellison Malone and Alisha Corbell (Chris); her sister Johnnie Lindsey; and her great grandchildren, Madeline Malone, Marianne Malone, Caison Corbell and Cohen Corbell. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
The family request that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to First Baptist Church of Russellville, The Russellville Education Foundation, or the There's A Way Foundation.
